Music Workshop & Recital

A wonderful Indian Classical Music Workshop & Recital was organised at Ramkrishna Seva Mandal, Bidada, Kachchh, bringing together the enthusiastic participation of the students, parents and staff members of Ramkrishna Seva Mandal & Sharda Niketan School.

The programme offered our students a unique opportunity to experience the richness, depth and beauty of Indian Classical Music, while discovering the timeless traditions of two iconic instruments — Sitar and Tabla.

We were privileged to have the esteemed artists : Shri Sujoy Basu — Sitar & Shri Roudraswa Rakshit — Tabla

The workshop provided students with an engaging learning experience through live demonstrations, musical interaction and guidance. The artists introduced them to the fundamentals of Indian classical music, rhythm, melody and the distinctive traditions associated with the Sitar and Tabla. The evening recital further enriched the experience, allowing students, parents and staff to immerse themselves in the beauty and expressive power of Indian Classical Music through a captivating live performance. It was a truly enriching and inspiring experience that encouraged young minds to listen, learn, appreciate and connect with India’s timeless musical and cultural heritage.

Teachers' Day Celebration

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Sharda Niketan School witnessed a wonderful initiative where our students of Classes 9 & 10 stepped into the shoes of teachers and school leaders for the day.

With enthusiasm, confidence and a strong sense of responsibility, the students took charge of various roles - teaching classes, supporting students, managing academic activities, and assisting in the day-to-day management of the school. This unique experience gave our students an opportunity to understand the dedication, patience and responsibilities that come with being a teacher and a school administrator. More importantly, it encouraged them to learn through responsibility, lead with confidence and understand the value of discipline.

Raksha Bandhan & Matki Decoration

Our school celebrated the beautiful festival of Raksha Bandhan with creativity, joy and the spirit of love and togetherness.

Students enthusiastically participated in the Rakhi Making Competition, showcasing their imagination and artistic skills by creating
colourful and beautiful Rakhis.
The celebration also included a vibrant Matki Decoration Activity, where students transformed simple earthen pots into beautiful works of art

through their creativity and craftsmanship.

Kho-Kho Tournament

Our school campus came alive with excitement, energy and sportsmanship as students participated enthusiastically in the
Kho-Kho Tournament.

The tournament was not just about winning—it was about teamwork, quick thinking, agility, discipline and never giving up. Every chase, dodge and sprint showcased the determination and sporting spirit of our young athletes. Congratulations to all the participants for their wonderful performance, and a special appreciation to the winners for their outstanding achievement! Stitching Workshop - 2

Building upon the skills learned in our previous Stitching Workshop, students took their learning a step further by creating reusable
& sustainable bags from cloth.

This workshop was more than just a creative activity—it was an introduction to a practical vocational skill that can become a valuable source of livelihood in the future. Through hands-on practice, students learned professional stitching techniques while developing patience, precision, creativity, confidence and self-reliance. With continued learning and practice, such skills can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and opportunities to earn an income independently. At the same time, making reusable bags helped students understand the importance of sustainability and reducing the use of disposable materials.
From learning a skill today to building a livelihood tomorrow
every stitch is a step towards a more
confident and self-reliant future.

15th August Independance Day Megh Utsav Celebrations

A vibrant celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day and Megh Utsav 2026 .The day was filled with patriotic spirit, cultural expressions, music, dance, poetry, speeches, and meaningful discussions. From the soulful Swagat Geet and patriotic performances like Namo Namo Bharatambe and Jayatu Jayatu Bharatam to the colourful monsoon-themed dances and poems, our students beautifully showcased the spirit of Bharat and the beauty of the monsoon season.

The Megh Utsav brought the joy of rain alive through folk dances, monsoon songs and poetry, while the Violence vs. Non-violence Movement Debate encouraged students to think deeply about peace, justice and social change.
The celebrations concluded with an energetic Lazium & Dumbbells Performance, making the occasion truly memorable.

Nashamukti Abhiyaan Pledge

As part of the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan, the students and staff of Sharda Niketan School proudly took a solemn pledge to build a healthy,
and responsible society.

The pledge served as a reminder that every individual has a vital role in staying away from addiction and inspiring others to choose a life of good health, strong character, and positive values. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a culture of discipline, responsibility, and compassion.

Blessed Visit of Revered Srimat Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj and Revered Maharajas

We were deeply blessed to welcome Revered Srimat Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj, one of the Vice Presidents of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, along with other revered Maharajas, to the Ramkrishna Seva Mandal – Bidada (Mandvi) Campus.

The revered monks graciously toured the campus, observed the various educational, residential, and service activities, and appreciated the efforts being made for the holistic development of children and the community.
During their visit, they interacted warmly with the staff members, who had the privilege of offering Guru Pranam and receiving their blessings and guidance.

The revered Maharajas also spent time with the students of Sharda Niketan School, inspiring them to pursue excellence in education while cultivating discipline, character, compassion, and spiritual values.

Their holy presence filled the campus with peace, joy, and spiritual inspiration, making the occasion truly memorable for everyone. Cheif Patron Campus Visit

Our Chief Patron, Shri Dipeshbhai Shroff, along with other esteemed guests, visited the Ramkrishna Seva Mandal – Bidada (Mandvi) Campus. During their visit, they interacted warmly with students from the Sister Nivedita Girls' Hostel, Vivekananda Boys' Hostel, and Sharda Niketan School, encouraging them in their academic and personal growth.

The Welcome Session for New Students is organized to help students and their parents begin their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm. The session introduces the school's vision, values, academic programs, campus facilities, rules, and co-curricular opportunities.

A vibrant and joyful celebration of curiosity, knowledge, and confidence across all age groups! From our tiny tots in Nursery to 2nd to our dynamic students of classes 3rd to 9th, the Annual Quiz Competition at Sharda Niketan School brought together young minds on one exciting platform of learning and discovery.
The little champs took their first delightful steps into the world of quizzes with fun-filled questions, exploring basic concepts while building confidence and enthusiasm. Their innocence, excitement, and eagerness to participate made the event truly heartwarming. Meanwhile, students from 3rd to 9th showcased their intellect and quick thinking through engaging rounds like Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Bhakti Yoga—reflecting not only academic excellence but also teamwork, presence of mind, and a healthy competitive spirit. Durga Puja Celebration

Durga Puja Celebration 2025 at Sharda Niketan School was a spiritual and cultural experience that filled the atmosphere with devotion and joy. The celebration symbolized the victory of good over evil and the divine power of Maa Durga. The day began with Deep Pragatya and Pushpanjali, as students and teachers offered prayers to the Goddess, invoking blessings of wisdom, strength, and positivity. This was followed by soulful bhajans, vibrant cultural performances, and traditional rituals, which created an aura of divinity and unity. Students from all grades participated in making the celebration memorable, devotional, and inspiring for all.

Heritage Week

Heritage Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The event aimed to instill pride in India’s traditions through
experiential learning.

Students and teachers actively participated by presenting Rajasthani art, attire, cuisine, forts, and customs through creative displays, models, and performances. Guided by teachers, students explored the historical and
cultural significance of each aspect.

The week helped students connect with their roots, appreciate cultural diversity, and develop creativity and teamwork.

77th Republic Day
& Vasantotsav Celebration

Sharda Niketan School celebrated India’s 77th Republic Day along with Vasantotsav with immense pride, enthusiasm, and cultural vibrance. The occasion beautifully blended patriotism, tradition, and youthful energy, creating an atmosphere filled with respect for the nation and joy of spring.

The celebration began on a dignified note with the Flag Unfurling and the National Anthem, instilling a strong sense of unity and national pride among students and staff. A disciplined and well-coordinated Parade by students of Classes 6 to 9 reflected commitment, responsibility, and reverence for the Constitution of India.

The cultural segment unfolded gracefully with Saraswati Vandana, seeking blessings for wisdom and learning. The tender Nursery performance on Tiranga touched hearts, while vibrant dance performances by LKG and Class 2 added color and cheer to the celebration. Melodious songs by UKG and Classes 6 to 8 further enriched the patriotic spirit.

The program featured meaningful presentations including National Symbols, Drama, and a powerful Act on the Life of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, highlighting constitutional values, equality, and social justice. Confident speeches by students of Classes 3, 5, 9, and 10 showcased awareness, expression, and leadership skills. Traditional and artistic performances such as Veena Pustak Dharini and Aai Re Ritu Vasant celebrated the essence of Vasantotsav, while Yogasan and the thrilling Rope & Pole Mallakhamb displayed discipline, strength, and physical excellence.

Sri Sri Saraswati Puja

Sri Sri Saraswati Puja was celebrated at our campus with devotion and spiritual grace, honoring the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, and learning.

Students and staff participated in prayers, rituals, and offerings, seeking blessings for academic growth and enlightenment. The serene atmosphere reflected respect for tradition and the importance of education in shaping bright futures.

Volleyball Tournament

Winter Fest, Christmas Celebration, and Volleyball Tournament 2025 at Sharda Niketan School were celebrated with great enthusiasm, promoting joy, teamwork, and holistic development.

Winter Fest featured fun games and interactive activities, while the Christmas Celebration spread messages of peace and kindness through carols, dances, and skits. The Volleyball Tournament highlighted students’ sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

Together, these events created a perfect blend of cultural celebration, physical activity, and joyful learning.

Maths & Science Fair

Science & Maths Fair at Sharda Niketan School was a vibrant celebration of curiosity, innovation, and teamwork. Students brought concepts to life through engaging experiments like Air Pressure, Siphon, Acid–Base Tests, Density, Chemical Changes, Inertia, Equilibrium of Force, Surface Tension, Magic Square, and even a Hydraulic Rocket launch. The fair transformed classrooms into spaces of discovery, where knowledge turned into confidence through excellent coordination between students and teachers, making it truly educational and inspiring.

International Week

International Week 2025 at Sharda Niketan School was thoughtfully celebrated with a special focus on Japan, offering students a meaningful insight into the country’s rich culture, traditions, and modern achievements. The school campus reflected the essence of Japan through creative displays and well-planned presentations.

Students and teachers showcased various aspects of Japanese life, including traditional attire, food culture, festivals, language, art forms, technology, and geographical features. Through models, charts, and demonstrations, students learned about Japan’s unique blend of ancient traditions and modern innovation.

Teachers guided students in understanding Japanese values such as discipline, respect, harmony, and dedication, making the learning experience both informative and inspiring. International Week not only enhanced global awareness but also encouraged students to appreciate cultural diversity and develop a broader worldview.

ART & CRAFT FAIR

Sharda Niketan School proudly organized Art & Craft 2026, a vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination, and cultural expression. The event brought together students from Nursery to Class 10, along with teachers and parents, transforming the school campus into a lively hub of colours, innovation, and artistic enthusiasm.

Art & Craft 2026 provided students with a wonderful opportunity to explore and showcase their talents through a wide range of artistic activities, including crafts, paintings, traditional art forms, and hands-on creative experiences. Every corner of the campus reflected teamwork, originality, and learning beyond the classroom. The school was thoughtfully divided into various activity zones, each offering unique creative experiences:

Swamiji Park featured activities such as woollen thread craft, origami, collage work, paper crafts, spray painting, and a puppet show.
The Art Room showcased sketching activities with explanations of wall paintings.
Along the Primary School Road, students participated in glass painting, canvas painting, leather work, tie and dye, paper mâché, and performances of Kutchi folk music using traditional instruments like Gado Gambelo, Morchang, and Harmonium.
The Green Garden hosted fabric painting, Jal Sanji, Bharatkam, mud mirror work, and eco-friendly crafts made from leaves.
The A.V. Room Block offered activities such as spray painting, colouring, cotton bud art, vegetable printing, woollen thread pasting, pulses pasting, pastel resist art, and paper craft work.

The event served as an inspiring platform for students to express their creativity while gaining valuable hands-on learning experiences. The dedicated guidance of teachers and the enthusiastic support of parents added great value to the celebration, making Art & Craft 2026 a truly enriching and memorable experience for the entire school community.

Language Fair

Language Fair at Sharda Niketan School was a vibrant showcase of students’ creativity, knowledge, and expression.

Through engaging presentations, activities, and cultural expressions, students explored different languages, cultures, and ideas with enthusiasm and confidence.

The event enhanced communication skills and fostered a deeper appreciation for linguistic diversity, making it an inspiring and enriching experience for all.

Sports Day (Primary & Secondary)

Sports Day 2026 at Sharda Niketan School was a joyful celebration of energy, enthusiasm, and young talent, with students from Nursery to Grade 10 participating wholeheartedly.

Nursery to UKG enjoyed fun races and activities, while Classes 1 to 4 showcased their skills through balanced and task-based events. Students from Grades 5 to 10 participated in Surya Namaskar, field events, chess, and running races, demonstrating strength, focus, and teamwork.
